Hi All,

We just placed our first letterbox. It happens to be at our favorite
hiking spot.

Placed by Jon, Joan, Jake and Jesse on 7/5/2002.
Walk-up Reservation, Westborough, MA

Directions to Walk-up and Robinson Memorial Reservation.
Route 495 to Route 9 West to the 1st exit (Research Dr./Computer Dr.)
Left off the exit ramp, left across Rte. 9 on to Flanders.
Follow Flanders Road south for 1/2 mile to Friberg Parkway on the
left at the Westborough Business Park Sign. The entrance to the
reservation is a gravel drive marked by a Sudbury Valley Trustee
(SVT) sign on the right side.

The reservation is open dawn 'til dusk, year-round.

Directions to the letterbox:
Pick up a map at the Kiosk.
With the kiosk on your right start down the steps. Continue until
your first left and head up the stone steps. Follow the path across
the boardwalk. The trail takes a right and follow to a 4-way
intersection. A large rock will be on your left. Take a left at the
intersection. Then your first right. Continue on the path, do not
go on the "Gorge Path". Keep walking until you are facing a stone
wall. Here the trail goes to the right but a well worn trail bears
left. Follow the path to the left to a break in the stone wall.
After the stone wall, look for a large boulder with trees growing
from it. A little frog awaits you at the base of the highest V-tree.

After finding the letter, and returning through the stone wall, you
can continue left for a nice loop.

Thanks,

Jon

We had a great time finding this one today.  Despite the haze it was a beautiful day for a walk.  This place is so nice and we never would have known about it without hearing about the letterbox here.  No wonder it is your favorite place to hike it will probably be one of our favorites too.
